Musical Monday - Ed Sheeran and Andrea Bocelli [Live at Wembley Stadium)...

Wembley Stadium is an exciting place for a concert.  This is beautiful.  However, this writer is old enough to remember when at a concert we held up lighters to make that sparkly look happen.  Now, you hold up your mobile phone.
As you celebrate the coming of the new year, you can hold up your lighter, a candle or your phone or just shout, "Happy New Year" to all.  May 2019 bring you all the wonderful musical moments you ever wished for.  Sing!!

Musical Monday - The USAF Band - 2014 Holiday Flash Mob

Treat yourself this Christmas Eve to a beautiful medley of Christmas music sung and played at the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum.
Watch the children's faces.  Watch the older couple trying to figure out the video on the mobile.  Listen to the applause for a job very well done.

Musical Monday - A surprise performance of Ravel's Bolero stuns shoppers!

Any time there is a musical feast set before a crowd unexpectedly, it is truly a gift of huge proportions.  This is one of my favourites.  I bet the orchestra just loved doing this fun flash mob.  I sure enjoyed it  I can never understand how people can just keep walking as if nothing were happening.
Interesting to note that they have their music taped to the backs of their fellow musicians.  And the conductor has to have his baton because his hands just aren't enough.  Our choir is ever so happy I don't conduct with a weapon.  Enjoy!!!

Musical Monday - Twelve Days of Christmas Rethought

This not only has very funny words but oh my the actions are amazing.  I don't know how they are still breathing by the end.  No, we won't be doing this in choir.  Relax.

Musical Monday - Christmas Gospel Flash Mob

I love flash mobs.  This one at a mall will start us off this Christmas season with some really lovely music.  If you could choose any song for a flash mob, what would you choose and where would you like to present it?
